Once a year, around the holidays, we have sweet, buttery loaves, richly laced with rum-soaked dried fruits, real vanilla, and lemon zest. Slathered with butter on a cold, wintery morning or nibbled with coffee after dinner, it's a holiday tradition we all look forward to.
