There really is no substitute for Vermont cheddar. This one is made by the Grafton Village Cheese Company, part of the philanthropic organization The Windham Foundation. All Grafton's fine cheddars are made from local Jersey cow milk, all r-BGH-free. Sage Cheddar has just the right amount of the savory herb to complement the sharpness of the cheese. Makes a superb table cheese, cooking cheese, or part of a "Ploughman's Lunch." Suitable for vegetarians.
Cheese is encased in wax and weighs approximately 8 oz.
