Beurre D'Isigny Basket - Unsalted 250 grams

Isigny butter has a long history. Made since the 16th century, it received its AOC designation in 1986, meaning no other butter can call itself "Beurre d'Isigny" other than this one, made from the milk of cows which graze on the iodine- and beta carotene-rich grasses of the Bessin and Cotentin marshes. The beta carotene makes the butter high in vitamin A, and gives it a distinct, buttercup-yellow color. Its rich flavor boasts notes of hazelnuts. Lovely for cooking, baking, or for use at the table.
