Wusthof Classic Cooks Knife 8" Hollow #1040100220

"Grantons" are semi-circular shallow bevels that alternate on either side of the knife and extend from the edge to the middle of the blade. They serve to release slices of food that otherwise stick to the side of the knife blade. The design was developed and patented in 1928 by the German company Granton Ragg, Ltd. Grantons are a nice refinement to this otherwise totally classic Chef's knife from Wusthof.
