From the little town of Rodello D’Alba in the famed Piemonte region in Northern Italy, comes this incredible Panettone we went crazy for this year! Panettone was invented in Milan, but has then conquered entire Italy. It is the symbol of Christmas and the Italian sweet best known abroad. The preparation of a single Flamigni panettone takes 3 days, with different phases of preparing the dough and leavening, many done manually. Then, after baking, the panettoni are left to cool upside down for about twelve hours. Flamigni only uses the freshest and highest quality local eggs, flours and butter, and a mother yeast dating back to the 1930’s, making this one of the best Panettone we have ever tasted!
