Are all Zabar's products available online?
Many of Zabar's own products and the products we carry are available online. Currently everything available in our store is not available online. If you'd like to place an order for something available in our store but that is not available online, please call our Personal Shopper and we will help you with your order or visit Zabar's Store to see everything we offer.

How do I l find a specific item from Zabar's Catalogue?
You can do this one of two ways. You can type the exact product name or the exact product number found in the Catalogue into the Search field, located on every page. To navigate to a product and see other related products, use the left hand site navigation. Click through the departments until you locate the department your product is in.

Is the information I give you secure?
All orders are encrypted with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology on both your end and ours. SSL encrypts all of your personal information including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet. In order for SSL to work, you must use an SSL-enabled browser. Please note: email is not encrypted and is not considered a secure means of transmitting credit card information. If you prefer not to order online, you can place your order by phone.

How do I send items to multiple addresses?
At checkout you can send your items to one address. If you would like to sent the same items to a new address, click "place this order again". If you are ordering multiple quantities of the same item and wish to send them to different addresses, make sure to add each item to your cart separately. You will be able to specify the different addresses on the Shipping page in Checkout.

Can I reorder an order already placed?
You can reorder any orders that you placed before by calling customer service at (212) 496-1234 or (800) 697-6301 outside the (212, 718, 917, 347, 646) area codes.

Can I purchase items for delivery outside of the U.S.?
Zabar's can ship to addresses within the U.S. and Puerto Rico.  We can not ship to countries outside of these regions

How do I know if an item is in stock and available at the time of my order?
If a product is out of stock, a red X will appear along side of the product price.  Most items can be backordered.  Out of stock items will usually be available within one to two weeks. We will notify you when your backordered product is available.

Will Zabar's confirm my online order?
Yes, we will send an email confirmation to the billing email address you supply when placing your order.

Do you charge sales tax?
All shipments within the state of New York are subject to sales tax on all housewares, candy, gift baskets, gift boxes and shipping. Please add applicable sales tax when ordering items by fax or mail to be shipped within NY State.

Can Zabar's assist with business gift giving and large orders?
We specialize in handling your large gift giving needs as well as corporate orders. Someone from our knowledgeable staff is always available to help you with selections or any questions. Choose any item or group of items from our catalog. We have a wide range of products to choose from.
