Queso Blanco - 8oz

This "white cheese" is simple and satisfying. Traditionally used in Mexican and South American recipes, it is a semi-soft and even textured pasteurized cow's milk cheese with a mild, slightly salty tang. It's a great cooking cheese, as it becomes soft and pliable, but still holds its shape during heating. Or, leave the oven off and enjoy it as is, with a rustic, country loaf and a generous sliver of guava paste.
