Zabar's Mandel Bread
Translated from the Yiddish Mandelbrot, this traditional twice baked almond bread is reminiscent of biscotti, only softer, chewier- and simply sublime! We off our family recipe two ways - Classic, Studded with apricot kernels, almonds slivers and a swirl of chocolate (14oz). Also Chocolate-Dipped, encased in heavenly dark chocolate fondant (16oz). Both make memorable additions to your holiday dessert buffet.
